Tyres with a large volume are essential to have enough grip on the trails. The rest of the components are constructed for durability. They have to bear enormous forces, which develope during a downhill ride. A low centre of gravity helps to stay stable on the bike in difficult and technical situations.The price for such a DH race bike starts around 4000 sFr.
