Hi,
I will be in Death Valley for 2 days in early April and I would like to visit the Racetrack. My problem is, I am below 25 and I can't rent a jeep from Farabee's to drive there. My question is, would I be able to drive to Ubehebe Crater (or closest real road to the Racetrack) and then bike the rest of the way?Also, I would like to hear opinions on whether I can drive to the Racetrack in my own car (regular 2 wheel drive, not high clearance), because I've seen differing opinions on this.
Lastly, is it possible to hitch a ride to the Racetrack, perhaps from the hotel at Furnace Creek? Would the hotel help me find someone who would be willing to take me along (even for pay)? Does anyone have experience in this?
