Aug 28-29, Elan Bikes Vitranc DH Kranjska Gora - fresh DH course in Elan Bike park is being built. It will be a short but sweet and flowing race, 285 m elevation, 1800 m lengths, 16.3% average drop...
Chairlift, nice team area, a lot of accomodation, a Friday night party... YOU SHOULDN'T MISS THIS ONE!

Sep 4-5, Kamnik DH - a classic NE of Ljubljana, shuttles, good crowd, nice "trio adio" rocky section to show off to the girls, some pedaling too

Also: two more 4X races to be held bo nobody really knows when, plus some street DL racing which got pretty popular here. Check www.bikefight.com Why no Austrians at these races? Wild stuff, all night races, big crowds, nice prizes...

Don’t miss the first downhill race in Kranjska Gora, in the brand new Elan Bike Park! Kranjska Gora offers everything from great riding to a large choice of accomodation and a lively night out.

During the event Elan Bike Park freeride course remain open every day from 9 to 17 hrs.

CATEGORIES: Sportsmen, women, junior (U17 included), masters, men elite; scratch ranking men (junior, masters, men elite)

PRIZE FUND: Prizes in money and goods according to Cycling Federation of Slovenia regulation.

TRANSPORTATION TO START: Elan Bike Park chairlift, operating from 9 till 17 hours every day.
Free of charge for competitors for Friday on-foot course inspection, Saturday after 12.30 hrs and all Sunday.
Pre-registered riders can buy Friday afternoon ticket for SIT 1.500 (about 6 Euro) and Saturday morning ticket for SIT 1.000 (about 4 Euro).

Length: 1800 m, elevation drop 285 m (start at 1105 m asl, finish 820 m asl), average drop 16,3%
Estimated race time: 2:20
80% ski slope, 15% forest sections, 5% jeep trail/dirt road

How to get there?
You can’t miss Kranjska Gora. It is located in the NW corner of Slovenia and easy to access from Tarvisio, Italy (18 km) and Villach, Austria (22 km over Wurzenpass).
