Hab die selbe Frage direkt an Specialized gestellt (bin 178cm groß). Das hab ich als Antwort erhalten (innerhalb von 2 Tagen, da ist S wirklich top):

Because bike fit is not based on just overall height but on a person's overall build and riding style we are not able to fit your through e-mail or over the phone.
I under stand that the your local dealer does not have the bike; however, you will have to find a dealer that has the bike to receive assistance with finding the correct fit for your overall build and also for your riding style. Be aware that there are typically going to be two different frame sizes that will fit you. The main deciding factor will be what your riding style is.
People who are more aggressive riders typically prefer a frame that is slightly smaller where as riders more interested in comfort or comfort over the period of a longer ride typically do better with a frame that is slightly larger than aggressive riders would use. Your dealer will be able to help you with your feedback to pick the correct size frame.
Most people can fit on two different sizes of bike, and what complicates things is the question of what one "feels" right, and only you can answer that.

Das Freeride Magazin hat in deren Tests geschrieben das neue SX hätte ein kürzeres Oberrohr als das Alte und wäre quasi generell kompakter und man solle ab 175cm bereits den L Rahmen nehmen. Allerdings gibt es keinen XL Rahmen mehr. Da Frag ich mich nun wirklich ob die Freeride Redaktion da falsch liegt oder ob Specialized keine Bike an Fahrer über 185cm verkaufen möchte
Hab mir einen M Rahmen bestellt. Bei dir wirds denke ich schon in Richtung L gehen müssen.
Achja vor drei Jahren als ich mir das alte SX gekauft hat konnte mir Specialize auf meine Anfrage hin noch M als richtige Rahmengröße nennen. Vielleicht hat in den USA ja zwischenzeitlich ein Kunde der falsch beraten wurde geklagt und sie lassen sich jetzt auf nichts mehr ein:twisted:
